Casey Fields, PsyD

Clinical Director

Casey Fields, PsyD is a licensed psychologist who oversees the clinical services provided in the adult residential program at Oliver-Pyatt Centers. Dr. Fields received both her masters and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Prior to that, obtaining her bachelors in psychology from the University of Central Florida (Go Knights!). She went on to complete her predoctoral internship at the Faulk Center for Counseling, a community mental health center providing low cost and free mental health services to individuals of all ages. Dr. Fields completed her postdoctoral residency at The Renfrew Center in Coconut Creek, FL where she worked for approximately seven years. During those years, Dr. Fields developed a deep passion for working with individuals struggling with eating disorders and related co-occurring issues.

Dr. Fields is a member of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP), Florida Psychological Association (FPA) and American Psychological Association (APA). Dr. Fields has conducted numerous workshops and continuing education seminars across South Florida, including “Identification of Eating Disorders in the Outpatient Setting” for staff of Faulk Center for Counseling, “The Complexities of Treating Eating Disorders” for Broward Association of Nutrition and Dietetics and “Use of a Transdiagnositic Approach in Eating Disorder Treatment” for the clinical staff of Oliver-Pyatt Centers.

Dr. Fields is a Florida native who is mom to two beautiful, spoiled kitties Roxy and Corky. In her time off from work, she enjoys taking weekend trips to nearby places such as the Florida Keys or the Everglades and being outdoors as much as possible.

Oliver-Pyatt Centers is grounded in mindfulness and the belief that each person has the capacity for a mindful relationship with food and their body. Present in every aspect of our program, this philosophy encompasses nutrition and eating, as well as movement, with an emphasis on becoming free from negative habits, behaviors and rigidity. We work from a place of empathy and wisdom, using a medically grounded, psychologically gentle approach.
